About Beef with Tomato:

When Jennifer Hayden was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 43, she realized that her tits told a story. Emmy award winner Dean Haspiel created Billy Dogma, illustrated for HBO’s Bored To Death, was a Master Artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, is a Yaddo fellow, a playwright, and the co-founder of Hang Dai Editions. Dino has written, drawn, and collaborated on many superhero and semi-autobiographical comix and graphic novels, including Fear My Dear, The Quitter, The Alcoholic, Cuba: My Revolution, The Fox, and Beef With Tomato.
Gregory Benton has been making comix since 1993. He cut his teeth on the political anthology World War 3, moving on to writing and drawing stories for Nickelodeon, Vertigo, DC Comics, Disney Adventures, Watson-Guptil, Entertainment Weekly, and his books Hummingbird and B+F.
Jennifer Hayden came to comics from fiction-writing and children’s book illustration. Her first collection of comics UNDERWIRE was excerpted in the Best American Comics of 2013. Her new book THE STORY OF MY TITS–a graphic novel about her life and her experience with breast cancer–will be released in September 2015. Her work has appeared in various anthologies and she posts two strips on the web: S’CRAPBOOK at activatecomix.com and her diary comic RUSHES at the goddessrushes.blogspot.com. She lives in New Jersey with her two cats, the dog, her husband, and sometimes their two college-age children.
